Most of the York Astronomical Society activities are financed by the society members voluntarily. However, there are some ongoing costs such as the observatory rentals, room hire for regular events and speaker costs, which are supplemented by member’s donations. You may send your donation to the Society via our JustGiving page, but all Membership Subscriptions must be sent to YAS Bank Account (see below) or in person.

If you wish to make a regular donation (or membership fee) to YAS, please transfer the money to the YAS Bank Account with the relevant payment Code and your Full Name (or Initial & Surname) in your Bank Reference. The code for donation is DON.
